Necessary peace initiatives

The decision of the Central Government to talk to all the parties related to the Kashmir issue has been given responsibility to former Director of Intelligence Bureau Dineshwar Sharma.  This decision is a sign of change in the attitude of the government.  It is also indicative of the fact that the government is serious about restoring the trust of Kashmiris on governance and is not looking to restrict the prevailing unrest there strictly or to restrict people to mainstream through development.  One aspect of the Kashmir problem is also political.  There is also a good thing that right now the atmosphere of Kashmir is conducive to dialogue.  At present, the atmosphere is relatively calm.  The flock of angry youth is not on the streets, the separatist leaders have recently - at the moment - no Pakistan-made statement.  There have been reports of cross-border intrusions and encounters with Pakistan-inspired terrorists, but the atmosphere is not so turbulent that everyday work will come to a standstill.  Most likely, the atmosphere seems to be calm, or it is possible that the increased security and vigilance may have made the Indian security forces truly successful and have left the separatist elements miserable, as  The Central Government has been claiming the past.  Past experiences related to Kashmir show that nothing can be said about the situation with its claim, but the current atmosphere of peace will definitely be helpful in the government's initiative of negotiation because even if there is a dialogue in a bitter atmosphere, even more  There is a possibility of controversy and proper communication is not possible.  It can also be expected that the conversation will take place after learning from past experiences.  Committees were formed to discuss the Kashmir issue even during the previous NDA and UPA governments.  At that time political efforts were also made to restore the confidence of Kashmiri people and dialogue was considered important.  But it is a matter of regret that the recommendations of those committees could not be implemented properly.  In such a situation, it should be hoped that the existing initiative to establish dialogue will bring color and any concrete result will come out of it.  The Kashmir problem has long been a challenge at the level of politics and security.  In this sense, immediate solutions should not be expected and negotiations should be held with the Kashmiri people,
